Egypt’s Zamalek continue their preparations for their upcoming game against Senegal’s Teungueth in the final fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage, scheduled on April 10.
Teungueth’s delegation to Egypt is expected to arrive in Cairo on Sunday, ahead of their clash against the Cairo giants.
Zamalek are currently in the third position with 5 points, while Teungueth are at the bottom of the table with 4 points.
Zamalek are keen to gain the three points in order to keep their chances for qualification to the quarter-finals.
On a similar note, Zamalek’s former player Ahmed Hossam, known as Mido, caused a clamor on social media after his controversial statements.
Mido stated that he was releasing fake accounts about Zamalek and the team’s players during the previous period.
However, a source from the clubs stated that Mido’s statements are all false. The source also added that Mido caused wide anger among Zamalek’s fans.
The source also added that Mido was trying to reduce the pressure on him, as he was under the media spotlight following his last dispute with Pyramid’s player Ahmed Fathy.
