Sharjah announced that the team’s head coach Abdulaziz Al Anberi will stay at his position, denying all the rumors that the coach resigned from his position.
Sharjah said in an official statement that the head coach did not resign from his position after the team’s 3-0 loss to Al Jazira in the 18th week of the UAE Pro League.
Sharjah lost their lead at the league and they are now second in the league table behind Al Jazira.
The club officials added that the medical tests which was done for Maged Sorour confirmed that the player suffered an Anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Sorour suffered an injury during the match against Al Jazira and he was forced to leave the pitch after only 22 minutes.
Sorour’s absence is a big problem for Sharjah as he has been one of the best players in the team this season.
