The Romanian coach Razvan Lucescu, the coach of the Saudi Al-Hilal team, revealed many things that led to the decline of the team’s results locally during the recent period, at a press conference by the Romanian coach after Al-Hilal lost to Abha in the matches of the 17th week of the Saudi League.
Lucescu said: (Abha) match is a reflection of the circumstances that a team went through during the past 45 days, and its result is the tax of previous achievements, starting with injuries and misfortune despite Al Hilal’s control in most matches. This is football. When victories are achieved, everything goes well. And when you get stuck, the coach is the first to blame.
Lucescu added: I do not prefer to rely on a large number of players, but the circumstances of injuries force me to involve new players.
And Lucescu: All the matches in which Al-Hilal stumbled was the best in them, including the derby match, the victory in the Super Cup, as we were in full control until the 60th minute.
