The Saudi Arabian forward Nasser Al Shamrani is due back to playing after 22 months; as Bahraini Hidd SCC are close to signing him.
Al Shamrani is considered as one of the greatest Saudi Arabian strikers of all time and he also won the Asian Footballer of the Year award in 2014.
Al Shamrani began his career with Al Wehda, and then he played to several Saudi clubs like Al Shabab, Al Hilal, and Al Ittihad.
He also joined the Emirates side Al Ain in 2017 for a six-month loan contract, and this was his first experience playing outside Saudi Arabia.
He also managed to win the Saudi Professional League top scorer award in four seasons.
Al Shamrani scored 126 goals in the SPL and became the second all-time top scorer in the competition’s history, behind Omar Al Somah.
