Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia hammered Al Sadd of Qatar 3-1 on Saturday in Matchday 2 of the AFC Champions League group stage.
Al Nassr’s Abdeleazik Hamdallah brokr the deadlock in the 37th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead.
Al Sadd upped their pressure in the second half and managed to level the score, thanks to Sani Cazorla’s effort in the 59th minute.
The minutes went on and Al Nassr managed to take the lead once again, as Abdelmaged Al Sulaiheem netted the second goal.
Al Nasse kept their dominance over the game and in the dying minutes of the match, Khalid El Ghanam baged the third to gift his team a comfortable 3-1 win.
On a similar note, Foolad of Iran sealed a 1-0 victory over Al Wehday of Jordan in Matchday 2 of the AFC Champions League group stage.
Both Al Nassr and Foolad are currently at the top of Group D, as they have 4 points each.
