Al Ahli Saudi announced on Friday the appointment of the club’s former player Naif Al Qadi as the new executive director.
“I am so happy to return to my home club to start my new mission as AlAhli first-team executive director. I would like to thank the board for putting their trust in me and I will work on achieving the ambitions of Al Ahli
fans. We need the board, the fans, and the media to be united behind the club to achieve our goals.” Al Qadi tweeted.
Al Qadi, who just lately resigned from the Saudi Football Federation, started his career with the national teams as the director of the U-20 national team during the U-20 FIFA World Cup in 2017 then he was appointed as the director of the U-23 national team in 2018. It is worth mentioning that Kayal resigned from his position last January after losing to Al Qadsiah.
